The HepaVac Team
I've assembled a rag-tag dream team but haven't had a chance to put a good assembly montage together. This link to the one from Mighty Ducks 2 will have to suffice
Stats: Years of Duct cleaning experience: 9 Speciality: Old houses, deep clean.

About HepaVac Duct Cleaning
Before I started HepaVac, I was a trainer for another leading local duct cleaning company. They expected me to pump out fully trained, new technicians ready to go on their own in 2 weeks. 2 WEEKS!
I kind of understand where they were coming from, on average, employees stayed employed with them for just 8-12 months, so they legitimately needed to get them out and generating revenue before they left the company...
HepaVac was born out of frustration with this model.
- If you have to rush training because technicians want to quit working for you right away, you should make the job better.
- I HATED stressing every. single. day about how much money I was going to be making at any particular jobsite. I loved cleaning ducts, but hated the games they made me play to try and earn a livable wage.
So HepaVac's technicians are paid a salary, have health insurance, PTO, and sick leave, and are incentivized to do quality work rather than “rush and sell”. Our training program typically takes 4 months to graduate. We limit our crews to only cleaning up to 2 homes per day, per truck. Some of our competitors do 6+ homes per day and charge more than we do!
Our turnover rate so far is 0.0%. I don't expect them to stay forever, nor would I want them to. But I am proud to be able to provide steady, stable, and secure employment for them while they achieve their personal goals outside of cleaning ducts. Cody will be leaving us to start undergrad in the fall of '22 (He got a full scholarship!), and Frank is hoping to find an apprenticeship as an HVAC installer or start trade school soon. Zach has been itching to get into the HVAC world for a while and is excited to get his hands dirty. Matt took a risk to become HepaVac's first employee in 2019. Since then he has become integral to our operations and trains our employees and maintains our fleet. Holly keeps us running and handles 100% of our day-to-day operations. She keeps us organized and on time and efficient.
Long story short, I may not be a great businessman, but I do my best to run a great business.

FAQs
Transparency is important to us so we answer your questions right away.
The only “hazard” you need to worry about while we work is noise from our compressed air tools and HEPA Air Scrubbers. Some people choose to stay home; some people go to work; some people run errands…whatever works best for you works for us. All we ask is that someone familiar with the house is available by phone if any questions come up.
We are a cleaning company, first and foremost. Our mission is to remove as much dust and airborne pollutants from your home as possible. Our goal is for your home to be as clean or cleaner when we leave than when we arrived. Ideally, the only evidence that we were even in your home is relief from your dust allergy symptoms.
We are very used to our customers working from home. Typically what works best is for you to stay in your office with the door closed, and at some point, when you are on a break for 15-30 minutes, we can come in and finish that room. Please note that we use compressed air and brushes and whips to scrub your ducts out, so it is loud, but there is usually minimal disturbance behind a closed door. When in doubt, we do offer Saturday appointments.
Our process takes time, and we have a firm limit of up to 2 homes per day, per technician. While this means that it might take longer for you to get an appointment with us, it also means that we take the time to get everything done properly. Appointments typically take 3-4 hours.
Meeting the pets is a highlight of our job! If your pets are friendly, there is no reason to board them or kennel them. That being said, many pets, especially cats, can get stressed by the noise. Many pet owners choose to leave their pets in a bedroom and move them to a different room when it is time for us to clean that room.
We always have masks available for our staff and if you’d like us to wear a mask in your home please don’t feel shy to ask. If someone in your home is immunocompromised or needs special accommodations please let us know when scheduling so we can plan accordingly. We always wear shoe covers.
We are here to help you and address your questions so you can make the best decision for your home or business.
