How long does it take to remove ice dams?

Usually 2-4 hours.

How does it work?

We will start by removing as much snow from the roof as possible. Walking on rooftop snow without removing it can create new ice that will just need to be removed later in the season. When the snow is removed, and ice dams are fully exposed, we will start to set up our steamer. We will need to hook it up to your hose spigot. We can thaw it out if its frozen. Then our steamer will heat this water up to 290 degrees F and we will start melting and removing your ice dams.

Sure thing! HepaVac repeat customers are to receive 10% off on Ice Dam removal services.

How does pricing work?

The first 2.5 hours are $1,000. Every hour beyond that is $500 billed in increments of 15 minutes. Additional charges may apply for after hours emergency work, to be agreed upon prior to starting.
